The tour agency ‘Guided Tour’ is organising tours of Vienna from 22 – 25 September 2022 and 29 September – 2 October 2022, and we are going with them!

TOUR PROGRAMME:
Day 1 (22.09.2022; 29.09.2022).
2.45 – gathering of tour participants at the central car park by the railway station.
3.00 – departure from Koszalin. Journey on the route: Koszalin – Gorzyczki (border crossing) – Vienna.
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Dinner. After dinner, time at the group’s disposal. Metro ride to the city centre – evening Vienna.
Overnight stay.
Day 2 (23.09.2022; 30.09.2022).
8.00 – Breakfast.
9.15- Guided tour. Modern Vienna on the Danube, UNO City – Vienna Internatio-nal Centre/International Centre – short stop at the UN complex, drive past the famous
Prater amusement park with its 19th century mill wheel. The colourful, fairytale house of Hundertwas-seer
Kravina , with its characteristic multicoloured facade and curved elements with lush vegetation.
A commented diversions along the Ring, the representative boulevard of the city. We admire the most impressive buildings from the time of Emperor Franz Joseph I: the former Ministry of War, the MAK Museum, the palaces of the former bourgeoisie, the Opera House , the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History, the Parliament, the Town Hall, the University.
Walk through the charming Old Town of Vienna. Visit to the most important symbol of the Austrian capital , St. Stephen’s Cathedral (extra cost).
Break for a taste of Viennese coffee “Melange” or for a sandwich at Třeševský’s with a small “Pfif” beer. Stroll along the Imperial Route: exclusive Graben and Kohlmark streets, Moro-wa Column
Pestsäule, the Hofburg Castle, the main Habsburg residence. Tour of the complex from the outside with the Heroes’ Square – Heldenplatz, Spanish Riding School, Swiss Gate, Joseph Square with Library
Court Library. Visit to the former imperial castle gardens next to the Hofburg – the Volksgarten with the statue of Empress Sissy and the Burggarten with the statue of W.A. Mozart.
End the day with dinner at a restaurant in the Old Town with a popular Austrian menu: Wienerschnitzel – in the main edition, the famous Viennese schnitzel.
Return to hotel. Overnight
Day 3 (24.09.2022; 01.10.2022).
8.00 – Breakfast.
9.15 – Guided tour. Drive through the former city suburbs past the Art Nouveau building with its golden dome, along the Naschmarkt city market and Otto Wagner’s ornamental town houses, to the Habsburg summer palace – Schönbrunn , visit the palace from the outside and walk through the beautiful gardens.
Drive to the Belvedere – the palace of Eugene of Savoy with a panoramic view of the city. It now houses the famous Gallery with Gustav Klimt’s famous painting “Der Kuss” (The Kiss). Tour the palace from the inside and walk through the cascade garden towards Charles Square, Karlsplatz. On the route: Polish Church – Garda Kirche, Fountain, Red Army Monument, baroque Charles Borromeo Church, University of
Technical University, Otto Wagner’s works – former steam train stations and the Music Society – the famous home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The day’s programme includes a visit to one museum or the Vienna Opera House (extra charge). Break for coffee/wine from Austrian vineyards, shopping, souvenirs.
Return to hotel. Overnight.
Day 4 (25.09.2022; 02.10.2022).
8.00 – Breakfast.
9.00 – Departure. Drive to Kahlenberg Hill from where, in 1683, King Jan III Sobieski of Poland descended with his hussars to fight the Turks. Panorama of Vienna. Departure to Koszalin. Lunch on the way back.
